Why upgrade now?
GBCI has put in place a special enrollment process to allow LEED APs to easily upgrade to LEED AP with specialty. This process is available to those LEED APs who passed the Canadian exam until October 27, 2011.
- You can either write your specialty exam or by commit to prescriptive continuing education.
- The $50 renewal fee at the end of the first two-year reporting period is waived.
Once you pass the specialty exam OR as soon as you enroll in prescriptive continuing education, you:
- Are considered a LEED AP with specialty and can use the title and logo
- Can submit any CE hours earned for either the Credential Maintenance Program or prescriptive continuing education, as applicable.
